Business Port Macquarie proudly launched the first Greater Port Macquarie Business Awards in 2007, as a way of formally acknowledging the growth and success of businesses in the Greater Port Macquarie region. Today, the event has become a favourite on the local social calendar and a valued opportunity to celebrate the contributions and excellence of our business community.
On Saturday, 27th July 2019, Business Port Macquarie and major sponsors, Holiday Coast Credit Union, welcomed over 570 guests to share an evening of celebration, community and connection.
Celebrity MC, actress, comedienne and writer, Jean Kittson (The Big Gig, Let the Blood Run Free, Good News Week) and co-host, Mark Strachan OAM (radio announcer, Triple M Mid North Coast) entertained and enthralled the audience across 37 categories and the inaugural Wayne Jackson Outstanding Community Service Award.
