October has been a very busy month with numerous events, including the Regional Women’s Breakfast, our AGM and being successful with a Small Business Month grant, which has provided funding for our Accelerator Program running in November.
Attendees heard from the Federal Member for Cowper, Pat Conaghan, Leader of the Nationals David Littleproud and Deputy Leader of the Nationals Perin Davey around their focus for the next three years and beyond.
The Breakfast formed part of The Nationals ‘Listening Tour’ of Regional Australia, to hear from those who matter most – the voters with real issues, facing real challenges and needing real solutions.
We can confirm the New Year’s Eve Fireworks will be on again this year, for both the 9 pm and midnight shows.
Thank you to the team at Hello Sailor who are the proud sponsors for the midnight fireworks, make sure you check out the fantastic events there will be holding over the festive season.
You can find all the details here
We would also like to thank the team Eire Constructions for their support of the 9pm fireworks. This event is one of the highlights of the year and with the support of two of our members and PMHC, we are looking forward to lighting up the sky on New Year’s Eve.
This project is supported by the Port Macquarie-Hastings Council Community Grants Program.
Each month Katherine hosts a coffee catch-up with members and guests, and the next event is coming up on Wednesday, November 16 at 10 am at Zebu.
Everyone is welcome for a lively chat about business, our region and how Business Port Macquarie can support our local business community.
For all the details, check out our event on Facebook and RSVP.
Have a great week and speak soon,
Katherine
