This started for me on the 21st January when we held our annual Cocktail party to kick the year off. This was held at florence jones on Clarence Street where over 65 guests had the opportunity to network and catch up with other businesses all while watching a spectacular sunset over the Hastings River being serenaded by Nikki Rudge. A big thank you to Eire Constructions who were our Sponsor of the evening. A big announcement from Eire was that they have again committed to be our Platinum Sponsor for New Year Eve Fireworks. Eire is a local company, employing locals and really giving back to the local community. Thank you so much to Tadgh Kelliher and the team, it is wonderful to have you onboard again.
A big congratulations to Hastings Business Women’s Network on their 25th Anniversary. I was fortunate to attend their Anniversary Dinner on the 1st February.
It’s that time of year again when we kick off our Coastline Greater Port Macquarie Business Awards!

Our annual Award presentation event will be held on 17th May and we look forward to seeing you on stage receiving your award.
Leslie Williams our State Member recently announced her retirement. Business Port Macquarie would like to say a big thank you to Leslie for all that she has done for our local community, for working with and advising Business Port Macquarie when we have been advocating on behalf of our members and also for being a friend and supporting Business Port Macquarie and our members. We wish you well in your retirement but please don’t be a stranger. You are always welcome at our events.

This year we are doing something a little different and will be holding our coffee mornings at different venues, with Businesses inviting us in so we can have a look at what they do.
