I am happily married with two beautiful boys and am a true local ‘born and raised’.
My grandparents moved to Port back in the 50’s and were the original owners of the Owen Street shops, when the town had a population of about 3000 people.
My parents have owned several grocery businesses in town during the 70’s and in fact still owns the Munster St shopping village today.
I started my career in computers sales back in 1998 at Manning Computers here in Port Macquarie, then moved to the Gold Coast in 1999to work for an Apple Centre.
It was early 2001 I decided to move to Sydney to start my career with Harvey Norman at Moore Park. I quickly moved from sales to management and was running my first franchise as a proprietor in 2006 at Penrith. Since then, I have had a franchise in both Campbelltown and in Fyshwick in Canberra.
It was in 2015 just after our son’s first birthday we decided to move back to Port Macquarie not only for the lifestyle but of course to be closer to family as well.
I remember telling my dad when I was back in school in 1996that one day, I would like to run my own computer store in Port Macquarie and through Harvey Norman I have achieved that dream and have had the franchise since September 2015.
I have a passion to see all businesses succeed in PortMacquarie and really believe in the motto of ‘locals supporting locals’ this is not just for business but also supporting those in need in the local area this is why I am a supporting of charities like Hasting’s cancer trust, Hastings education fund and Hastings Little Wishes.
