A celebration of the year that was
New Year's Eve is a chance to pause, look back on everything the year has brought, and step into the next one with a bit of positivity and joy. There's something special about sharing that moment with thousands of others, all looking up at the same sky, all ready for a fresh start.
One bigger show at 9pm
This year we're putting everything into one bigger, better family-friendly display at 9pm. There's no midnight show, so come down early, find your spot and settle in. It's the perfect time for families, with the kids able to soak up all the magic and still be home in bed at a reasonable hour.
Bring the people you love
The fireworks have always been about togetherness. Families spread out picnic rugs, friends catch up over fish and chips, and neighbours you haven't seen in months wave hello across the grass. It's a night for sharing, and it doesn't matter whether you've lived here your whole life or just arrived.
